Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 


Dear Friends,

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Who doesn't love candy? If you're looking for some old school treats, check out Snap Stop Food Bar on 19 Main Street.

This new business offers a taste of nostalgia. They have candy dating back to the 1950's! It reminded me of the corner store I used to visit growing up along Riverdale Avenue.

This Halloween weekend we have some exciting events happening in our great city and plenty of activities to snag some candy.

I want to encourage all our families to celebrate safely, that's why I've joined with the Yonkers Police Department to set a curfew for our children on Halloween night. Stay safe and have fun!
