The Westchester County Department of Public Safety Statement on Incident in Yonkers.

 

 The Westchester County Department of Public Safety can confirm that at approximately 5:02PM tonight, October 7, a passenger was shot while on board Bee-Line Bus #257 which is on the #4 line.  The incident happened at South Broadway and Ludlow Street in Yonkers. 

 

The alleged assailants are unknown at this time, but police are searching the area.   The victim has been transported to Jacobi Hospital, and is listed in stable condition. 

 

Officers from the Westchester County Department of Public Safety, and the Yonkers Police Department are on the scene.
