Yesterday evening, September 20, 2022, the Yonkers City Council held a Rules Committee meeting. All items on the agenda appear below, as well as the decisions taken by the City Council in regard to these items.

1.    General Ordinance – amending Chapter 109 of the City Code of the City of Yonkers “Vehicles and Traffic” with regard to Commercial Vehicles. (Neutral Fiscal Impact.) (All Councilmembers.) (Moved to Municipal Operations & Public Safety Committee for further discussion)
 
2.    General Ordinance – amending Chapter 91 of the Code of the City of Yonkers also known as “Garbage and Refuse” in regards to Garbage Receptacles. (No Fiscal Impact.) (All Councilmembers.) (Moved to Municipal Operations & Public Safety Committee for further discussion)

3.    Special Ordinance – authorizing acceptance of State Grant Funding from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) in the amount of $262,000 and amending the City of Yonkers Grant Budget for Fiscal Year 2022/23.
