Hispanic Heritage Month is here! Hispanic Heritage Month is from September 15th thru October 15th. The dates are significant because they include the independence days of several Latin American countries. Please see below some pictures I've shared from the flag raising ceremonies we held at Yonkers City Hall for Mexico and El Salvador, as well as an educational grant opportunity for Hispanic students graduating in 2023 who plan to pursue higher education. I've also included information on a Hispanic Heritage Month event being sponsored by Westchester County on September 28th, as well as the one being planned by my office - our Annual City Council Hispanic Heritage Month reception - at City Hall on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 5pm.
