Yonkers Insider: City of Yonkers: YONKERS SHUTS DOWN ILLEGAL SMOKE SHOP ACROSS FROM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

 


Overnight an illegal smoke shop popped up at 998 McLean Avenue, across from St. Barnabas Elementary School. After a thorough investigation by Yonkers Police, Fire, and Buildings Departments, the business was found to not have the necessary permits to be operating and has now been shutdown.


Father Brendan Fitzgerald of St. Barnabas Parish was a major catalyst in shutting this illegal smoke shop down due to his Facebook post that urged the city to get involved.
