HOW TO GET RID OF YOUR FOOD SCRAPS
Step 1.
Purchase a food scrap bin ($20) from the Yonkers Department of Public Works
Step 2.
Dump your scraps in the compostable bags that are given when purchased
Step 3.
Drop off your filled bags at the Recycling Center or the County Department of Environmental Facilities (DEF) for compost
