Yonkers Insider: City of Yonkers: First Ever Flag Raising Ceremony for El Salvador.

 


Yesterday was the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15th. What better way to celebrate than with a flag raising ceremony at City Hall? We raised El Salvador’s flag for the first time in Yonkers city history, and had a huge turnout. Thank you to the Yonkers Hispanic Cultural Foundation for putting together such a great event.
