Yonkers Insider: Yonkers City Council Majority Whip John Rubbo 4th District: BERNICE SPRECKMAN COMMUNITY CENTER.

 


I worked hard to allocate over $550,000 for interior and exterior improvements to the Bernice Spreckman Community Center, located at 777 McLean Avenue.  
Included in the improvements:  Men's and Women's handicap accessible restrooms, new LED ceiling lighting, new handicap accessible water drinking fountains, new exterior metal storefront doors/insulated glass panels with handicap accessible door operators, outdoor exercise equipment, and a beautiful pavilion. 

The community center is expected to be completed and opened within the coming weeks!!
