Yonkers Insider: New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh: Assembly Honors Leaders of the Interfaith Community for World Peace and Harmony.


This week I introduced to the Assembly, Leaders of the Interfaith Community for World Peace and Harmony and formally acknowledged their service to our State and recognized their solidarity with World Yoga, Global Peace and Interfaith.


They are Imam Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah, Founder of the Interfaith Center USA; Imam Dr. Shamsi Ali, Director, Jamaica Muslim Center; Rev. Dr. Frank Kaufman, President of the Twelve Gate Foundation and my friend Dileepkumar Thankappan (Guru Dileepji), Main NGO Representative of the World Yoga Community to the United Nations ECOSOC & DGC. We together attended a special IFTAR Muslim-American event hosted by Governor Hochul at the Capitol.
