Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 

Dear Friend,

Efficiency. Effectiveness. Improvement.

These are three words my administration focuses on when working internally and addressing concerns facing our City.

Most recently, I instructed the Traffic Engineering office to examine and make recommendations to further improve traffic flow on McLean Avenue.

After a month, they made key observations, this time optimizing traffic flow along McLean Avenue. Working with the Yonkers Public Schools, school bus stops were moved off main roads to less frequented areas to allow better traffic flow during peak hours.

Yonkers will continue to be proactive in elevating the quality of life for all in our City.
