Yonkers Insider: Statement from New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh Representing Yonkers.

 


Today, I’m proud to stand with my friends in the Ukrainian-American Community in Yonkers to announce my introduction of the Stop Russian Aggression Act with Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick. This law would require New York State to divest from sanctioned Russian companies and prohibit New York State from procuring items from Russian sanctioned vendors. Together, we are taking critical steps to hold the Russian government accountable for its invasion of Ukraine.
