Today is the 1st Day of Collecting Signatures to get on the Ballot, Commonly Known as Designating Petition Period, this Period starts Today, March 1st and Concludes on April 7th.
Races for this Year are the Following: NYS Governor, NYS Attorney General, NYS Comptroller, All State Assembly Members, All State Senators, US Senate, All US Congress people, Yonkers City Court Judge, Westchester County Court Judge, Yonkers Democratic Party District Leaders for Yonkers Democrat Reorganization and also Delegates for the NYS Supreme Court 9th Judicial Convention as well.
Statewide Candidates who don't get 25 Percent of the Vote at their Party Conventions, have to Collect a Minimum of 15,000 Signatures Statewide. The Other Races are Less in amount of Signatures that needed to make the Ballot: 5 Percent of the Active Enrolled in the Political Party in the Political Unit being run in: US Congress: Minimum of 1,250 Signatures. State Assembly: Minimum of 500 Signatures. State Senate: Minimum of 1,000 Signatures. City of Yonkers - City Wide: Minimum of 500 Signatures.
