Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 


Dear Friend,

Yonkers experienced about 5-6 inches of snow accumulation. Our DPW crews are still out in full force, salting and plowing the roads.

While the snowstorm moved away from Yonkers, the concern is icy road conditions as the temperature drops tonight. If possible, stay off the road. If not, please pay extra attention when driving, as the weather can cause slick road conditions.

Also, please note, alternate side of the street parking is suspended through Saturday, 1/8. However, meters remain in effect.
