Yonkers Insider: NEW YORK STATE GAMING COMMISSION.

 


The New York State Gaming Commission has authorize approved mobile sports wagering operators to begin accepting bets on Saturday, January 8.  The four approved operators are: Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings, FanDuel and Rush Street Interactive.  Users of these operators will be allowed to place bets on sporting events in New York State. 

 
Experts predict that mobile sports wagering will generate billions in revenue for New York State in the next several years with much of it going towards education.
