Dear Friend,
The holiday season spike is here, with new confirmed cases of COVID-19 hitting a record high state-wide since the start of the pandemic, and Yonkers is seeing a new high since the beginning of the year. Confirmed cases have tripled in Yonkers since the end of October.
As difficult as it may be, we must regain control and slow the spread.
- Avoid large indoor gatherings if possible
- Wear a mask when indoors
- Practice social distancing when possible
- Get vaccinated if you are not already
- Get boosted if you are eligible
- Most importantly, make smart choices
Consider getting tested before seeing relatives to protect yourself and your loved ones. It's on us to end the year on the right note before heading into 2022.
