Dear Friend,
We are seeing a holiday season spike in new confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The number of new cases has doubled in a week, the highest since April of this year.
What does this mean?
It is the first time we have seen such a spike. It's on us to control the spread and protect ourselves and our loved ones.
Governor Hochul has set forth a new mandate set to go into effect on December 13th, which states that masks are to be worn in all indoor public places unless businesses or venues have implemented a vaccine requirement.
Let's make smart choices as our actions today will determine new cases in the future.
We cannot afford to go back. We are #YonkersStrong.
