It’s Been an Honor
I’d like to take this time to thank you for reading these newsletters and for the various ways you’ve connected with me during my term as County Legislator. Whether it was to let me know about how loud mufflers are disrupting your sleep, or chronic flooding is continuing in your neighborhood or the State Department has held up your passport application, your calls and emails really informed me of the concerns of the district. Small business support, dead tree removal, tree planting, new bicycle paths and foster care for a grandchild were some of the topics that my office handled for constituents. I thank Sarah Carbonaro, my legislative aide, for her countless hours connecting constituents to services in City, County, state and federal government. With Sarah and my staffer Neil McEnerney, I was so fortunate to have a strong team.
As I roll off the Board I am so grateful to the voters who elected me in 2019. This experience has taught me so much about the responsibility of County government and the vital services it provides. I encourage you to stay involved with the Board's activities! Read the Board's Press releases, watch the Board's meetings on-line and Vote every year!
Being connected to local representatives is truly how democracy works best.
From all of us, have a safe and healthy holiday season and New Year!
