Yonkers Insider: Yonkers City Council Meeting - November 9, 2021.

 

The Yonkers City Council held a Municipal Operations & Public Safety Committee Meeting, as well as a City Council Stated Meeting last night, November 9, 2021. All items on the agendas appear below, as well as the decisions taken by the City Council. Municipal Operations & Public Safety Committee   1. Local Law – Amending Section C8A-1 of Article VIIIA of the Charter of the City of Yonkers in relation to the Commissioner of Housing and Buildings. (Kept in Committee). City Council Stated Meeting Old Business 1. Special Ordinance - Long House Connection - 37 Montgomery Avenue (Adopted 7-0). New Business 2. Resolution - Approving an Inter-Municipal Agreement between the City of Yonkers and the County of Westchester to accept wellness in nutrition (WIN) FY 2021-2022 Grant Funding (Adopted 7-0). 3. Resolution - Approving an Inter-Municipal Agreement between the City of Yonkers and the County of Westchester to accept Grant Funding to provide the enhanced youth and police initiatives plus programs (Adopted 7-0). 4. Resolution - Settlement - Flood vs Allstate Insurance Company A/S/O Plamer - $40,000.00 (Adopted 7-0). 5. Resolution - In support of NYS Senate Bill S1553B and Assembly Bill A6399A, also known as the "Clean Slate Act" (Moved to Rules Committee for Further Consideration). 6. Resolution - Advise and consent to the Commission on Reapportionment Committee Members (Adopted 7-0). 7. Resolution - Commissioner of Deeds (Adopted 7-0). 8. Add-On Resolution - Appointing members of the Human Rights Commission (Adopted 7-0).
