Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.


Dear Friend,


I sincerely hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday with loved ones and those closest to you.

As we wrap up the week, may we remember just how fortunate we are to live in a city where time and time again, we put people first.

I saw the absolute best in our city leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday.

This week, I joined PCNY and Stew Leonard’s to help address food insecurities. Thanks to their generous donations, we gave over 28,000 turkeys so families could use the power of a meal to bring loved ones together. 

This is yet another reminder that Yonkers is incredibly blessed to have such powerful community partners. 

I hope you enjoy your weekend.
