Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As we prepare to celebrate the wonderful holiday of Thanksgiving, we can give thanks that we are in a very different place than we were in last year. We are no longer in lockdown and most of us are vaccinated. Americans will be traveling this week in record numbers and attending large, indoor celebrations. However, we are not carefree. Cases of COVID are rising and the news of break through infections is unsettling. We must proceed with caution in order to be together. We must continue to get our boosters, to mask and socially distance at times, and to get tested when we feel sick.
So while we enjoy this holiday in person with family and friends, let us do so with care, and let's remember to count all of our blessings, large and small.
