Harckham Delivered Record State Investments in Education.
Dear Friend,
When our public schools reopened this fall, educators were ready for the multitude of challenges—thanks to an historic investment in school funding secured by the State Senate’s Democratic majority in the 2021-2022 State Budget.
After years of school advocates fighting for the necessary educational resources to meet the needs of our children, we finally succeeded in moving New York State to fund its public schools fairly with a record-high increase of support—because children are entitled to a quality education, irrespective of their zip code.
So, let’s not go back to the days of inaction and cheap talk.
