City Hall, NY— On, Monday, November 29th, Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez will be standing with elected officials, including Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, and The 504 Democratic Club, the nation’s first and largest club advancing the civil rights of people with disabilities, along with disability advocates, to rally in City Hall to celebrate securing a supermajority of 38 co-sponsors on New York City Council bill Intro 1141 and call for an immediate vote.
Intro 1141 would expand curbside access to Access-A-Ride and people with disabilities, by eliminating parking ticket fine discounts to the largest ticket offenders, who have recently secured expanded parking under the Smart, Safe and Sustainable Deliveries legislative package announced by Speaker Johnson: https://council.nyc.gov/press/2021/04/21/2081/
