Town Board will consider applications for Town Judge who will serve until after the November 2022 elections
Greenburgh Town Judge Christie D'Alessio was elected on election day to the New York State Supreme Court. As a result, there will be a vacancy on the Greenburgh Town Court on January 1. Under New York State law the Town Board will have the ability to appoint a Town Judge who will serve in office until after the November 2022 election. There are three Judges who serve as part time Judges on the Greenburgh Town Court.
Those interested in being considered for an interim appointment should e mail your bio and statement to townboard@greenburghny.com. If the successful or unsuccessful contenders are interested in running for election to a four year term they should also reach out to the political party of their choice and advise that they would like to run for the office of Town Judge in 2022.
PAUL FEINER
Greenburgh Town Supervisor
