Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 


Dear Friend,

This week, I joined with New York State Attorney General Tish James to announce settlements following her successful lawsuit against Big Pharma.

Thank you, Madam Attorney General, for fighting for a settlement recognizing Big Pharma's role in ruining millions of lives because of opioids. 

The City of Yonkers received $5.3 million from the settlement, and we will make use of every penny, investing in more education and resources to address the opioid epidemic.
