Yonkers Insider: City of Yonkers: PEARLS HAWTHORNE SCHOOL RANKED #40 IN NEW YORK STATE.

 


PEARLS Hawthorne School Ranked #40 out of 2,211 elementary schools in NYS.  I am so proud of the Yonkers Public Schools and the leadership at Pearls.

I am proud to be a PEARLS parent!

PEARLS was only outpaced in Westchester County by 1 of 3 - Chappaqua Elementary Schools and 4 of 5 Scarsdale schools. PEARLS ranked higher than Yorktown, Bronxville, White Plains, Briarcliff and many other districts.

Why am I so happy about this?  Yonkers schools are often not given enough credit for how far they have come the past decade. This success is exactly why I am committed to increased funding for our schools and to rebuilding our aging buildings.

Way to go PEARLS! Keep up the great work YPS!
