IMPORTANT UPDATE: As a result of predicted thunderstorms, the Yonkers City Council Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration has been postponed for Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.
Hispanic Heritage Month officially started on September 15th to celebrate the independence of many Latin American countries during this time of year. National Hispanic Heritage Month emphasizes the contributions that Hispanic and Latino Americans have made to our society. I am excited to celebrate this year with my community at our annual Yonkers City Council Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on Thursday September 30, 2021 from 5pm to 6:30pm at the City Hall Unity Fountain. There will be art, live music, fun activities and a lot of delicious food! Below, you can find other Hispanic Heritage Month events taking place this month!
