I am pleased to announced the endorsement from my good friend and colleague, Majority Leader, Corazon Pineada Isaac. Majority Leader Pineda Isaac is in her second term as Real Estate Committee Chair on Yonkers’ City Council. The Majority Leader’s endorsement comes as recognition of our shared leadership styles. Civic engagement has been a part of my life since I was (Library board member or earlier), while Ms. Pineda was first elected to Yonkers City Council at 25. Civic engagement is our passion. Open door policies and community outreach programs have been the impetus we have time and again used to drive public policy. Advocating legislation intended to better our communities has never fallen on deaf ears.
