The Yonkers Shoprite of Greenway Plaza hosted a "Help Bag Hunger Day". Throughout the day, cashiers asked customers for donations to help stock local food banks, and help feed the hungry. I am glad I was able to participate in an event that raises awareness of the issue of hunger.
