Westchester Insider: Westchester County Legislator Catherine Parker: Donations Being Accepted for Families Impacted by Hurricane Ida.

 

Dear Friends and Neighbors, 

Furniture Sharehouse is accepting furniture donations for distribution to local families impacted by Hurricane Ida at a Container located at 442 Waverly Avenue, Mamaroneck.

They will accept GOOD CONDITION (no flood damage please) SMALL APARTMENT-SCALE (no oversized items) furniture. Please go to https://furnituresharehouse.org/donation-guidelines/ and carefully review their guidelines to see what they can/can't accept.  

Drop-Offs are encouraged and Drop-Off Hours at 442 Waverly Avenue are Thursdays 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and Sundays 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., beginning this Sunday, September 19th. If you are not able to drop-off, local pick-up may be available depending on the size and quantity of items. If you are unsure about your items (send photos & dimensions), or if you are unable to drop-off and are requesting a pick-up, e-mail furnsharemamk@gmail.com. Again, please review the Donation Guidelines carefully, as they will not be able to accept items that do not meet the guidelines.
