Yonkers Insider: Yonkers City Councilman John Rubbo 4th District: COMMUNITY FITNESS EQUIPMENT AT COYNE PARK IS OPEN.

 


On Thursday, August 19, the community and I joined Mayor Spano and the Parks Department in cutting the ribbon on phase 1 of 3 at Coyne Park.  This new fitness park has been in use by many in the community over the past few weeks since it has been installed.  The stationary bikes and elliptical machine are the first of its kind in Yonkers. Many of the machines are senior friendly. 

Phase 2 begins next week with the installation of a 20'x40' pavilion and phase 3 begins the second week of September with upgrades inside the building.
