I recently visited Winter Tree Pottery situated in the Hat Factory, a growing Peekskill commercial center. Winter Tree is part of the Peekskill Clay Studios, which has space with modern facilities available to artists. While at the Hat Factory, I also visited the home of the National Maritime Historical Society and saw a vintage newspaper featuring coverage of the Titanic sinking and a book about the doomed ocean liner signed by two crewmembers.
