30 years ago Phil Weiser was a resident of Hastings on Hudson. Before starting law school he agreed to serve as my campaign manager for Greenburgh Town Supervisor. After our successful campaign Phil graduated NYU Law School, clerked for two Justices on the US Supreme Court (Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Byron White. Phil later served as Dean of the University of Colorado Law School and became Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the US Department of Justice.  He was elected Attorney General of Colorado. Last week Phil spent some time (via zoom) chatting with the Greenburgh summer interns about his experiences. Phil discussed the opiod epidemic, water,  answered questions how the town should deal with marijuana (now that it is legal). And, he invited students to apply for internships in his office next summer. One of the interns already expressed interest.  This years summer internship program is being coordinated by Town Clerk Judith Beville.  Watch Phil's presentation  by clicking onto the link below.
