Mount Vernon Insider: MVPD Changing the Narrative Youth Program celebration.

 

Last week, elected officials, community partners and parents joined the City of Mount Vernon to celebrate the youth who served on our Youth Advisory & Leadership Council, our MV Knights in Blue: Cops & Chess program, our Changing the Narrative youth program and our Peer Mediation training program.

The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, CLUSTER Community Services and The Guidance Center of Westchester provided the tools and resources to support and train future leaders.

A huge thank you to the MVPD officers who committed their time (and money) to making the almost year-long commitment and celebration a success!
