I want to take this time to thank everyone who signed my petition in March of this year. My team and I are very honored and beyond humbled to have received all the support and positive encouragement throughout these past couple of months. One of the many best experiences I encountered throughout this campaign was having the privilege to get to know more of the people from my community and listen to their needs. Our community's infrastructure is in desperate need of reinvestment and renewal. The safety and cleanliness of our streets and neighborhoods have fallen to unacceptable standards. The people in our community deserve better.
As your city council woman, I will fight for our community! I will make sure that all the hardworking taxpayers stop receiving handouts for development projects that don't benefit current residents. I will ensure that disadvantaged students in our district aren't left behind in our schools. Also, I will push at every level of government for meaningful investment in our community.
I am beyond grateful to our city for the opportunities it has granted me with as an immigrant, businesswoman, and naturalized citizen. I am eager to give back to our community. Four more days to early voting! Democratic primary is on June 22nd. VOTE SUAZO! Let's move Yonkers Forward!
