Greenburgh Library open...Town Hall open (until Board makes final decision- appointments are required to speak with employees).
The Greenburgh Library is now open to the public without occupancy restrictions or appointments! Masks are encouraged, but not required. Curbside pickup remains available throughout the day. The Town Board will be meeting live at Town Hall beginning this Tuesday at 6 PM. Will review with the Town Board the possibility of allowing residents to participate by zoom during public comment portions of the meeting. I think NYS law should authorize participation at public hearings via zoom. We welcome public participation. And zoom encourages more community involvement.
Town Hall will also be open to the public. I will ask the Town Board on Tuesday at our work session whether we will do what some other communities are doing and require appointments. Until a decision is made appointments should be made if you want to meet with an employee.
