One of the Most Talked about Races in Yonkers and Westchester County on Primary Day, June 22nd will be the 17th County Legislative District - 3 Way Primary between Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado, Former Westchester County Legislator Virginia Perez and Community Activist London Reyes.
County Legislator Alvarado is seeking a 2nd Term in this 2nd Go Around as a Westchester County Legislator, only one person has ever defeated Jose Alvarado and her Name is Virginia Perez, in fact this will be 10 Years since Virginia Slayed him in their last encounter.
This will be an interesting race, Alvarado is the selection of the Political Class Establishment, what that will mean, we shall see on Primary Day June 22nd. The Community will be heard from in this race and they will control who wins this race and not The Political Class in my humble Opinion. Jose will have the race of his Political Career in our View and Opinion, can he survive this Primary Battle in a 3 Way Race?
Community Activist London Reyes is making his 3rd Run for this Seat, He considers himself the Bernie Sanders of Yonkers and has longed to be an Elected Official, through his years as a Community Activist and being an Advocate for our Youth and also for Southwest Yonkers, We shall see how that Corresponds in the outcome of this Primary for him. We wish him much success in this race.
Former Westchester County Legislator Virginia Perez is running to return to Elected Office with hopes of serving Her Extended Family once again in the Westchester County Legislature in the 17th District. Once again the Political Class Establishment is going hard to attempt to stop her from winning, like always. The Same Cast of Characters who
attempted to stop Virginia from winning 10 Years Ago, are at it again. Virginia is not a friend to the Power Brokers and will not be their lapdog ever.
The Only Bosses of Virginia Perez is her Community and her Extended Family. The Establishment doesn't seem to get it that Virginia doesn't play by their Rules, Virginia Plays by Virginia Rules and Trust me, She Loves proving people wrong and She truly relishes in doing that.
The Democratic Party Primary is to be held on June 22nd.
