I am a lifelong resident of Yonkers and Westchester County, I grew up playing in many of the parks in our community. I looked at the 2019-2020 budget breakdown for Westchester County and for all 17 county parks, 6 golf courses, and 5 conservation areas there is a budget of $54.8 million which was adopted. I would like to revitalize our parks and do better by increasing the budget to make crucial upgrades or address the needs with the budget that we have based on priority. Tibbetts Brook Park is a beautiful park that many people and children visit and it is in a desperate need of revitalization.
