MTA Pop-Up Vaccination Sites Extended at Grand Central, Penn Station, Through June 5.
If you haven't gotten your COVID-19 vaccination yet, you will have a chance to do so through the end of next week if you're traveling through Grand Central or Penn Stations.
New York State has announced that is is extending the operation of its free pop-up vaccination sites at those locations through Saturday, June 5. That includes this Sunday, May 30, and Memorial Day, Monday, May 31.
The Grand Central pop up will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. The pop up at the Penn Station 34th Street corridor will operate from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
All walk-in participants who receive the free, one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will also get their choice of two free, one-way Metro-North rail tickets or a seven-day unlimited MetroCard.
