I write this Election Piece on Westchester County Legislative 17th District Candidate, Democrat Virginia Perez, Democrat. She is a former Westchester County Legislator of the 17th District from 2012 till the End of 2019, She decided not to Run for Re-Election to Focus Time on Her Business Called Pet Luxury. In My View,
We need More Elected Officials like Virginia Perez, She always reached across the aisle to work for Consensus to get things done and that should be Applauded and not Demeaned. She always worked so hard for Her Constituents - Her Extended Family and She always looked in on them for her full term, not like Politicians who only come during Election Time. She was the exception to the Rule in terms of Elected Officials, She was Simply the Best and No One can Duplicate Her in my Opinion. She created Events for the Community to let the Public know what Services were available in terms of Resources for the People of Her District, when She was a County Legislator. She was a breath of Fresh Air as an Elected Official in my view.
The Establishment doesn't like her, because She don't Play by their Rules, She plays by Virginia's Rules and being a Fighter for her Extended Family, when She was a County Legislator and We need her back in this seat to make up for the Incompetent County Legislator who is currently in this Seat named Jose Alvarado.
Down the Road, I will write A Piece on the Double Dipping that Mr. Alvarado is currently doing in terms of Being an Elected Official but also having another Public Job in the City of Yonkers Parks Department.
She faces off in Democratic Party Primary for this Seat on June 22nd with Current Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado of the 17th District and London Reyes, Both Candidates Virginia has beaten in the past.
