Democrat Zafiro Acevedo has been ruled off the Yonkers City Council 2nd District Democratic Party Ballot due to not having enough valid Signatures, ruling by the Westchester County Board of Elections.
We give Zafiro Acevedo much credit for attempting to make the ballot and be part of the Political Process in our view, She is a winner, because She gave it her all to run this race. Kudos to her.
That leaves in the 2nd City Council District, Democratic Party Primary on June 22nd: Yonkers City Council Majority Leader Corazon Pineda Issac, Cristal Suazo, Annette Yarber, Ashley Pallano and Jose Roman.
