Greenburgh Insider: wanted: a farmer's market at Greenburgh Town Hall.

Help us find farmers and vendors.

Town Clerk Judith Beville and my office, working with the Department of Planning, are reaching out to farmer's and other food vendors/artists asking if there is interest in setting up a farmer's market at Greenburgh Town Hall in our parking lot.  Depending on the availability of farmer's this could happen on weekdays (late in the afternoon and early evening) or on weekends.

If you know vendors/farmers who might be interested in participating please contact Town Clerk Judith Beville at jbeville@greenburghny.com or Paul Feiner at pfeiner@greenburghny.com.. You can call Town Clerk Beville at 989-1504 or Paul Feiner's office at 989-1540.

This farmers market, if established, will be the second farmers market sponsored by the town of Greenburgh. For thirty years the town has sponsored a successful market on E Hartsdale Ave. Town Clerk Beville's office has been instrumental in organizing musical entertainment on many market days. A farmers market at Town Hall would provide residents who live in the Fairview section of town with the chance to enjoy the market, to socialize with neighbors in a safe setting, and to purchase delicious and fresh produce.
