Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 


Dear Friend, 

Once I was eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, I have always said I would make an appointment. 

Well, this week, with great confidence in science, I received the vaccine. 

It's important to note a year ago since tracking began, Yonkers started at 35 confirmed COVID-19 cases and now has a total of 25,736 cases. 

We have certainly come a long way, but I promise there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We must continue to follow the safety guidelines and get vaccinated to put an end to this pandemic.
