March 2021 marks one year since all of our lives changed drastically. We entered into a state of fear and frenzy as we realized that the mysterious virus that was going around was more dangerous than anyone could have anticipated. The whole world shut down, people were jobless, many lost loved ones, and we learned that we could only get through this with cooperation and social distancing.
A year later, we are a lot more aware and confident in the direction of our future. Although many continue to suffer the turmoil that inherently accompanies a tragic pandemic, we have a vaccine available and a better informed general populous. Our lives have undoubtedly changed, and we have become accustomed to new norms, but in the end, we have come out stronger because of it.
It has been so rewarding to watch everyone in the community come together and support one another. Thank you to everyone who has taken the steps to keep yourselves and your peers safe!
