Report Shows Electric School Buses Reduce Pollution, Create Jobs, Benefit Kids
Jobs to Move America (JMA) released a report which found that switching from diesel buses to electric buses will decrease toxic pollution, reduce the risk of asthma for children riding on the buses, and create good-paying green jobs. JMA is a member of the NYC Clean School Bus Coalition, which NYLCV founded as part of our public awareness campaign, Clean Buses for Healthy Niños, on the benefits of electric school buses.

The Western Bays Resiliency Project in Nassau County, which will help reduce nitrogen pollution and improve wastewater infrastructure in the Western Bays received a new Federal Emergency Management Agency grant of $71.8 million. (Long Island Herald)
