NEW YORK, NY - Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) will host a press conference alongside Northern Manhattan electeds Sunday, March 7th at 1:00 p.m. EST at 2565 Grand Concourse (corner of 192nd Street) in the Bronx, to discuss his ongoing efforts to secure relief for district residents. Last week, Espaillat and House Democrats voted to pass the American Rescue Plan to help crush the COVID-19 virus and get the economy moving again with shots in arms, money in pockets, children in schools and people in jobs.
Rep. Espaillat will be joined by New York City and state elected officials, business leaders, advocates, and families to highlight how the American Rescue Plan will work to support local businesses, put money in the pockets of New Yorkers, including $1,400 rescue checks for Americans that, following the $600 down payments enacted in December, would bring the total to $2,000 per person.
