750 Greenburgh seniors vaccinated!
A big thank you to the Greenburgh Covid Angels for organizing the vaccination of 750 Greenburgh seniors yesterday at the Theodore Young Community Center. And, a thank you to Union Baptist Church and Christ Temple for their help. Many volunteer angels, the Greenburgh Police, staff of the TDYCC and others helped make the vaccination a big success. Lines were much shorter than they were a few weeks ago - the last time the vaccinations were given at the Community Center. We all learned from the first experience and made yesterday's event less stressful and easier for all.
Thank you, Carol Allen for chairing the Covid Angels Committee. Rite Aid did a fantastic job --we were their first large vaccination pop up location in the area weeks ago.
Our Covid Angels are working very hard helping those who need appointments get them. It's starting to get easier to get vaccinations. So, if you need one please let us know.
Thanks again. Your health is important to the town. Tell everyone you know to get a vaccine if they are eligible. Can save their life and the lives of others.
