Ruth is a 14 Year resident of the 15th District. She lives in Bronxville with her family and has been very involved in the community for many years. Some of those positions included being President of the Bronxville Public Library Board of Trustees, Serving as Clerk of the Bronxville Justice Court and Volunteering with the PTA and Girl Scouts. She is currently a member of Rotary Club of Bronxville and the Aquehung Women's Democratic Club of Yonkers. Ruth also volunteers her time at the Met Cloisters Museum, giving tours on medieval art to school children across the region.
Ruth opened a small business in 2009 called Dobbs and Bishop Fine Cheese, located on Pondfield Road in Bronxville.
Challenger Republican James Nolan: President of the Michael Nolan foundation, dedicated to helping community in Yonkers and James Nolan does it as a Memorial to his late brother Michael Nolan. James Nolan has been very active in the Yonkers Community for many years and is always giving back to our City. He is a credit to our City of Yonkers in constantly giving back to our City of Yonkers in many ways. James comes from a tremendous family, they are all to be admired in the Nolan Family, all that comes from his parents, Two great People his Father Jimmy Nolan and his Mother Donna Nolan. James Nolan is a fighter for causes he believes in and that is to be admired and I look forward to covering James Nolan Campaign for Westchester County Legislator in the 15th District.
