Dear Westchester County Democrats,

Wednesday night was memorable. Thank you to the many who participated. I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming support the district leaders and proxy carriers showed in voting to endorse me in my bid for re-election as Westchester County Clerk.   You, the district leaders from every corner of the County and representing all demographics and ideologies that comprise the Democratic Party, joined together to nominate me with 98% of the votes cast. Your recognition of my lifelong commitment to good government – achieved through transparency, accessibility, modernization, diversity and inclusion – is a special reward. I am honestly humbled, grateful, and proud to have such strong support from my fellow Democrats.   My entire career has been based around government, from being a city manager to my serving as mayor and now as Westchester County Clerk, I have always done my best to help the people I am tasked to represent. I am a true believer that good and effective government is an absolute necessity for people, particularly those forgotten or even held down by society. The government must always be a vehicle to raise everyone up. I have never been one to rest on my past accomplishments, as proud of them as I might be. I am committed to continuing to expand the work and efficiency of our Westchester County Clerk’s office, including expanding the scope of services already made available on our successful mobile office, and continuing to lead, statewide, in the implementation of new technologies. Now, as we face a primary election challenge, I hope you will join me and my team. Please volunteer. Your commitment to good government is the backbone of a winning campaign.
