New York State Insider: New York State Assemblyman Abinanti Questions OPWDD Commissioner Kastner.

 

February 17, 2021          As the Chair of the new Assembly Committee on People With Disabilities, I led the questioning of Office of People with Developmental Disabilities Commissioner Theodore Kastner at the recent Assembly/Senate budget hearing on Mental Hygiene.         Unfortunately, the Commissioner was unable to provide justification for the unacceptable budget cuts being made to OPWDD services this year.           My questioning of the Commissioner is here:
