The upcoming election will determine how we rebuild and reposition Mount Vernon for success for years to come. I don’t want to see Mount Vernon blocked by bad politics, neither do you. With your vote and continued support, as your next Comptroller I will work with the administration and any other ally to make progress for the people. As you can see, the drama in City Hall has gotten worse. For years they lied to you about me. They misled you and used the clutter of confusion to cloak their plans of hoarding power and pilfering the city’s coffers. Enough is enough! We can end the “race to the bottom” and “reach the top” with Richard Thomas, MBA, as your next Comptroller! This is why I established the Charter Revision Commission and, with your vote, we passed 4 breakthrough provisions that will enable us to redeem the promise of Mount Vernon’s potential.
